This part of Ireland could easily be called 'the Undiscovered Country'.  With rugged, majestic mountains rising from the coast, misty waterfalls, the clean clear waters of its lakes and rivers, Benbulbin amongs the Kings Mountain range, Glencar Waterfall, Lough Gill and the River Shannon, Connaught has it all.  Counties Leitrim and Sligo are extremely rich in historic and literary interest. The countryside has an abundance of neolithic sites, Carrowkeel passage tombs and Knocknarea (Maeve's Grave).  The landscape is often bathed in a beautiful soft changing light accentuating the views in a tapestry of colour, many artists have made their home here and of course this area was an inspiration for the writer and poet, W B YeatsCome visit and let us share it with you.
